Inmarsat's Broadband Global Area Network - BGAN - is the world's first voice and broadband data mobile communications service accessible anywhere on the planet. Delivered via a highly portable, easy to use device, it is also the fist mobile service to offer guaranteed data rates on demand. BGAN enables users to connect via their laptop to their corporate network at speeds up to half a megabit per second. Remotely access for all the desktop applications including e-mail and the internet via a secure virtual private network (VPN) connection, with simultaneous voice application.
